Daddy & Daughter

It's so adorable the way DJ has started to bond with Kylie. Things between the two of them were rocky at first, mostly because DJ didn't really know what to do with Kylie. Now...as she is growing up and getting a personality, DJ seems to be finding ways for the two of them to connect. He is currently writing her a rap - yes she likes rap (go figure). The first few lines are as follows:

Stuck in my car seat til I'm thirty

Poopy in my diddie, ridin' dirty

There are many lines to this rap now - titled Backseat Baby Rap. It's fun to watch them together and see how Kylie reacts to how silly her daddy is. Current favorite picture of them is posted above.

Been too busy!

I highly doubt anyone even checks this thing anymore, considering I haven't put anything on here since I was 25 weeks pregnant...and now my beautiful baby girl is 3 months old! Amazing how busy life got during that last bit of pregnancy, and startling how busy its been since our little peanut has been in the world.

So far, there have been moments I've wanted to scream, actually pulled out some hair, and gained a couple eye wrinkles. But there have been such sweet, amazing moments we've been blessed with as well. Kylie smiles regularly now...and every smile is a sincere gift from God. She talks, well...baby talk and has the voice of an angel. And when she falls asleep on my shoulder, nothing in the world matters except for holding her in that moment.

I'm going to start blogging again on a regular basis, but for now...I'll leave you wondering. :-)
